Personalisation of Goods

Ideally artwork should be sent electronically as an EPS, AI PDF or JPEG file at a minimum of 300dpi (virus free, please.) maximum file size 3mb, or saved in the same format on to a Disc and posted.
If this is not possible a good quality black & white jpeg file may be useable. Please do not fax your artwork as it does not produce an image of suitable quality for printing.

Artwork Origination Service

Send us your ideas and we will make them into coloured graphics.
Please note; Many home computer files do not produce images of a suitable quality for printing. Therefore it is often necessary to convert files or redraw artwork. Artwork services are chargeable from £15 for a file convertion to £35 per hour for redrawing.

Specially Commissioned Medals

Finishes; Your medal designs can come in 8 different finishes; 3 highly polished finishes;

Dimensions;
Medals come in 3D – curved high relief surfaces or in 2D – Flat surfaces on 2 plains. Our exclusive '2D extra' will give you a third level to a normal 2D medal.
Surfaces;
Polished, Satin or Stippled.
Edges;
A variety of types, Plain, Square, Rounded, Bevelled, Ridged, Roman & Diamond Cut.
Colouring;
A variety of our medals come with up to 4 colours of enamelling. More colours are available on request. Colouring can be added as a background or as an infill in any pantone colour of your choice.
Ribbon Loops;
Can be fitted on edge of medal, as part of the medal design. They can also be fitted as loop for a clip or via a punched hole for a clip.
Ribbons;
Can be sewn through your medal loops or supplied attached with clips. All prices include 1 colour of ribbon printed 1 colour. All medals are supplied bagged unless otherwise requested.

All trophy figures, trims and centres are interchangeable, and can depict any sport.

Medal & Trophy Centres

1" and 2" centres can be specially made for your club or event in our Downham Factory. Origination charge from only £8. Standard centres can be supplied or made for any sport or pastime.

Personalised Ribbon Printing

12, 19 & 24mm Ribbons can be specially printed for your club or event in our Downham Factory from 16p.
Origination charge from only £15. Standard printed ribbon for your sport or event from only 21p each.

Engraving on Trophies and Tankards

All engraving requirements must be sent in writing (email is acceptable). Engraving requirements can be given over the phone but customers do so at their own risk. Winning Ways will not be responsible for any mistakes made using this method. Flat surfaces can be engraved up to 25 letters free of charge, additional engraving charged at 3p per letter. Curved surfaces and arced engraving can be produced at a cost
of 20p per letter.

Glass Engraving

Engraving requirements can be given over the phone but customers do so at their own risk. Winning Ways will not be responsible for any
mistakes made using this method. Many items on the glass pages can be engraved or sandblasted with text, standard or special logos, additional cost from £5 per item. For special logos there is also a set up cost of £15 per design.

Medal Engraving

Engraving requirements can be given over the phone but customers do so at their own risk. Winning Ways will not be responsible for any mistakes made using this method. Engraving of up to 25 letters free of charge for repeated text. Changes to text charged at 10p per change. Additional engraving charged at 3p per letter. Engraving is not recommended on some medals (see item description) engraving of these medals is undertaken at the customers risk.

Sale or Return on Medals

Is only available if not engraved. Centres and ribbons are not refundable. All returned items must be received within 5 working days of the event to qualify for credit.

Deliveries

All items must be checked on delivery, all breakages made known to the carrier at the time and reported to us within 48 hours for replacement. Unchecked items cannot be claimed for at a later date.
Breakages; Photographic evidence may be required.

Carriage/Postage

Carriage or Postage is charged separately. Postal charge is calculated on the weight of your parcel, the minimum postal charge is £2.20. Minimum carriage charge is £8.95 per parcel up to 20kg for 2/3 working day delivery, £9.95 for a next working day delivery, to mainland UK (Saturday delivery £25.95). For Offshore Islands, Highlands, & N. Ireland £20.95 first 10kg, plus 75p per kilo thereafter 2/3 working day delivery only. Next working day for N. Ireland or Isle of Man £29.50 first 10kg, plus £1.40 per kilo thereafter. International destinations including EIRE & Channel Isles by quotation.

Terms of Trading

Prices; Please note that while every effort will be made to hold prices as stated, any unavoidable increases will be notified at the time of ordering. All prices in this catalogue are exclusive of vat and delivery.
Terms; Goods will be invoiced approximately within 7 days of despatch and are payable no later than 30 days from invoice date. Any overdue accounts may incur a 7.5% interest charge per month. All deliveries must be checked for breakages/accuracy upon receipt and reported to us within 48 hours. Photographic evidence of damage may be required. Unchecked items cannot be claimed for at a later date. Sale or return on medals is only available if not engraved. Centres and ribbons are not refundable. All returned items must be received within 5 working days of the event to qualify for credit.
Title; Title, legal or beneficial to goods supplied, does not pass to the customer until payment has been made in full. All goods remain the property of Strides Ahead Ltd t/a Winning Ways until such payment is made. In the event of non-payment, the club, sponsor or individual in whose names the goods have been ordered will be liable for the settlement of the full amount.
